Fest for All!
The Arts Council of Greater Baton Rouge will present FestForAll - Baton Rouge's premier art & music festival, March 28 - 29, 2015! Join them for a full weekend of art and entertainment along North Boulevard in downtown's Town Square and on the grounds of the Old State Capitol and the Shaw Center for the Arts. The hours on Saturday, March 28 are 10AM - 7PM and on Sunday, March 29 are 12 noon - 6:00 PM. FestForAll is FREE and open to everyone.

Based in New York, Shen Yun is the first company to present classical Chinese dance to the world on a large scale. And it has taken the globe by storm, performing in over 100 cities. Shows in top venues, like New York's Lincoln Center, are sold out. Think of it as a journey into a long-lost world you cannot see anywhere else-from ancient legends to heavenly palaces to the dusty plateaus of the Middle Kingdom. You cannot even find a show like this in China, where this ancient heritage has been destroyed. Now you can experience it live on stage at the Baton Rouge River Center March 24th & 25th.

Kathy Mattea at the Manship
Check out Kathy Mattea performing songs from her new album Calling Me Home! Calling Me Home is Kathy's new release on Sugar Hill Records, co-produced with multi-Grammy-winner Gary Paczosa. It's a collection of songs that celebrates the Appalachian culture of her native West Virginia, and expands the vocabulary of acoustic roots music that has always served as her artistic center.

EBRPSS Music in our Schools Benefit Concert
The purpose of this event is to bring awareness to the importance of the music programs in E.B.R. and to showcase some of our outstanding student and faculty talents that are thriving in our parish. The entire event is structured in two sets: one set for student/teacher performances and one set for our guest musical entertainment. The guest showcase group will be a "who's who" of professional musicians in the Baton Rouge area that will comprise the band "Take That!". They will perform a mixture of horn driven R&B, Soul, and Funk selections that will bring great entertainment to the audience.

"Welcome Home Vietnam Veterans Day" being held from 11AM until 2PM on Saturday, March 28th at the USS KIDD Veterans Museum. The KIDD is one of two organizations in the state paying tribute to a group of veterans. Farmers and food artisans will offer fresh leafy greens, citrus, Ponchatoula strawberries, prepared foods, seafood, cheeses and more. Bring the kids out to the market for our special Sprouts activity of the month. Inside Main Street Market, the Fresh from the Market cooking demonstration will take place at 10AM in the North Street seating area featuring fresh and local ingredients from the market in seasonal recipes. Glory and Gumbo at St. James
The St. James Center for Spiritual Formation announces a wonderful speaking series to be presented during the ECW Friday Lenten Gumbo lunches. Six preachers from various religious traditions are scheduled to speak on successive Fridays, in the church, from 12:05 to 12:30PM, so attendees may enjoy gumbo then the speaker, or the speaker, then gumbo in Bishops Hall!
