Capoeira in Town Square Join Capoeira Baton Rouge in North Boulevard Town Square at Galvez Plaza for FREE basic Capoeira classes on Wednesdays at 7PM and Sundays at 6PM. Capoeira is a Brazilian art form which combines fight, dance, and rhythmic movements that are performed in a dialog between players. Students can expect to learn basic Capoeira movements and acrobatics in order to enhance ones flexibility and general muscle strength. Most of the classes start with a brief warm-up and learning Capoeira, movements through strength, technique, history, and music. Capoeira connects people with Brazilian and African culture.
