Veterans and community members are invited to a Veterans Day Ceremony being sponsored by the USS KIDD Veterans Museum, in partnership with Secretary of State Tom Schedler and Louisiana's Old State Capitol, on Nov. 11. Afghanistan War Veteran and both Bronze Star and Purple Heart Recipient Mike McNaughton will be the keynote speaker. Louisiana Army National Guard Sgt. First Class Denis Ricou, who is also a Louisiana Naval War Memorial Commissioner, will be the master of ceremonies.
