Tuesday, July 4, starting at 9:00 PM Channel 2 is continuing the Independence Day tradition with WBRZ's Fireworks on the Mississippi. This year's fireworks display can be viewed from all parts of Downtown Baton Rouge including our parks, rooftops, and Mississippi River Levee. The patriotic celebration will be accompanied by a live telecast live on 24 Hour News Channel WBRZ+, WBRZ.com, and WBRZ News 2's YouTube Channel on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at 9:00 PM.

The downtown levee steps are the best place to view the WBRZ Fireworks on the Mississippi River. If you can't make it to the levee steps by 9:00 PM, watch the fireworks from Town Square, Repentance Park, a building rooftop, or a parking garage!
