Belle of Baton Rouge Features New Venues
The Belle of Baton Rouge Casino now features a new venue called Bar 102, a place where the drinks are always cold and the food is always delicious. Bar 102 serves up frothy pints of locally brewed beers as well as all your favorite beverages. Join them for a post-work happy hour or relax and hang out with your friends. From mouthwatering appetizers like quesadillas, gumbo, and buffalo wings to tasty sandwiches like the crawfish-cake burger and roast beef & onion panini, there's something for everyone's appetite! Hours of operation will be Sunday - Thursday, 11:00AM - 11:00PM, Friday & Saturday, 11:00AM - midnight. The Belle also has another newly opened venue, The Atrium Cafe. This is an upscale dining venue that is open only in the evening or as a private dining event. The Atrium Cafe's hours will be, Thursday through Sunday from 5PM - 10PM. The Atrium Cafe will feature a local Baton Rouge artist each month and display samples of their work.

Mignon Faget Exhibition at the Capitol Park Museum
A major exhibition celebrating the life and work of noted Louisiana artist and jewelry designer Mignon Faget is opening at Capitol Park Museum this Friday, and it will run through Feb. 25. Mignon Faget: A Life in Art and Design, originally organized by the Historic New Orleans Collection, features hundreds of objects including jewelry, prints, linoleum blocks, drawings, glassware and textiles. The exhibition presents the artist's commercial work and commissioned pieces for Mardi Gras krewes, museums and numerous charitable organizations.

Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week Pitch Night
As part of Baton Rouge Entrepreneurship Week, they are hosting their 11th Pitch Night this Thursday. This will be their biggest and most publicized Pitch Night to date. Four area entrepreneurs will have 10 minutes to pitch their business to the panel of experts in front of a live audience. RIO is flying in venture capitalists from across the country & CMO Accelerator is flying in a notable entrepreneur from New York to sit on the judges' panel for this event. A cash prize will be given to the entrepreneur with the best combined presentation and business model.

LASM Planetarium New Shows Starting
LASM would like to invite you to their newly renovated planetarium this Friday. They reopened the planetarium November 4 after a three-month renovation, during which new carpet and seats were installed. This Friday, several new programs will open to the public, including a family-friendly show called One World, One Sky: Big Bird's Adventure; a large-format digital movie called Wild Ocean; and Life: A Cosmic Story.

Come run this challenging and exciting "Amazing Race" style race. Teams of two people will race from one stop to the next in beautiful downtown Baton Rouge completing challenges at each stop before receiving a clue to move on to the next. Join the Fresh from the Market cooking show to learn how to create a Farmers Market Feast with local produce, nuts, breads, native Louisiana wines and artisan cheeses. Chef Celeste Gill will host award winning local Chef Nathan Gresham from Beausoleil Restaurant & Bar as they share menu ideas to make this year's Thanksgiving dinner a special Louisiana treat. Musical entertainment will include The Fabulous Bagasse Boyz and the Lagniappe Dulcimer Society throughout the morning.
