Appetite For Life in North Boulevard Town Square
Wednesday, January 25, 11:30AM - 1:30PM

MSN's Appetite for Life with Andrew Zimmern will be in North Boulevard Town Square this Wednesday to film show segments in front of a live audience. A food truck "Wround-up" will be held in conjunction with the event, with each truck preparing a dish that reflects its unique concept but is rooted in Cajun flavors. The food trucks will donate 10% of gross sales to the Capital Area United Way, which is partnering with the show! The public will be able to purchase jambalaya samples to benefit the Capital Area United Way at the event. Come out and enjoy a plate of Jambalaya while participating in the filming!

The median of North Boulevard at St. Louis Street will be closed, however vehicles will still be able to head East on North Boulevard from St. Louis.

Lucy's now open on Sundays!

Lucy's Retired Surfer's Bar and Restaurant is extending their service to Sundays. Lucy's dishes are cool and refreshing so come on downtown grab some surfer grub. Take a seat under the awning and pull up a menu right on 3rd Street. Lucy's is open Monday - Wednesday (11AM - 10 PM), Thursday - Saturday (11AM - 2AM) and on Sundays (11AM - 10PM).

Zolia Italian Bistro is now open in II City Plaza

Louis DeAngelo has opened a new 2,400 square feet upscale Italian bistro and wine bar in II City Plaza. The restaurant is serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 6:30AM to 8PM, Monday through Friday. DeAngelo and partner Mike Wampold developed the concept over the past five years with an emphasis on creativity and appeal to the business crowds. DeAngelo says the menu offers a variety of foods not seen in his namesake pizzerias. Visit their website for more information and full menu.

Dragon Cafe Now Open

The new Chinese restaurant, Dragon Cafe, is now open at 431 Third Street next to The Office, offering another great dining option for downtown patrons. The owner, Tony Hu, completed renovations including beautiful new bamboo flooring and other decorative treatments.
