Lunchtime Lagniappe at State Museum
Where was LSU exactly? Did you know that LSU's campus used to be Downtown on the site of today's Capitol building and Capitol Park?

In Images from the Past, author Faye Phillips takes us on a tour of the old campus illustrated with period photographs by Fonville Winans, David King Gleason and Andrew Lytle.

Red Stick Farmer's Market
On the first Saturday of each month, the East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners are at the Red Stick Farmers Market to offer expert advice on seasonal gardening and often provide free soil sample kits. The Fresh from the Market Cooking Show happens every Saturday inside Main Street Market. This cooking demonstration showcases local chefs and food lovers from around Louisiana. Also on the first Saturday of each month, except January and May, the Baton Rouge Arts Market sets up next to the Red Stick Farmers Market.

The meeting will be held at the Old State Capitol between 5:30- 7:30 p.m. The design team will present a PowerPoint presentation then transition into an open house forum; where the team will be available to address individual feedback.
