Downtown will host an overnight stop on the 2013 Hemmings Motor News Great Race. The Great Race is the world's premiere old car rally and is expected to bring up to 100 antique automobiles downtown to the Belle of Baton Rouge Atrium.

Star Spangled Saturday at the Market
Red, white, and blue won't be the only colors making a statement this weekend as the Red Stick Farmers Market and Louisiana 2 Step host Star Spangled Saturday. Part of their summer long Fresh Fest summer the celebration will highlight Louisiana farmers, fishers, and food artisans. Chef Celeste Gil will be on hand for the Fresh from the Market cooking show as she demonstrates how to put a fresh and local twist on the July fourth barbeque and party favorites. The cooking demonstration is from 10 to 11AM in the North Street seating area of Main Street Market.
