A Taste of Downtown at Hollywood
A Taste of Downtown will help raise funds and awareness of the Triumph Kitchen, as well as celebrate the restaurants and chefs who are dedicated to making the Downtown and Mid-City areas culinary destinations in Baton Rouge. A Taste of Downtown will showcase the talented chefs and delicious cuisine from local restaurants, including the Celebrity Grill at Hollywood Casino, Smokin Aces BBQ, Doe's Eat Place, Aztecas Mexican Cuisine, Bistro Byronz, Three Bones Catering, Ruffino's Catering as well as the Louisiana Culinary Institute and Triumph Kitchen. In addition to the delicious cuisine,Taste will feature a silent auction, live music, live painting by local artists, and an open bar.

Long Neck Society at Live After Five
Live after Five in Downtown Baton Rouge is the Capital City's premier FREE outdoor concert series. Live After Five Concerts are held on Fridays from 5PM-8PM in North Boulevard Town Square under the award winning Crest sculpture. Make sure to check out the LINE-UP because you aren't going to want to miss a show!

Crawfish King Cook-off
This event is a community Crawfish Boil competition to benefit Junior Achievement of Baton Rouge and Big Buddy Program, and will be held "backstage" at the "Live After Five" Concert Series. The winning team will be crowned Crawfish King. This event will have 50 corporate teams boiling for the title.

Zumba on the Lawn at Town Square
Ready to Zumba? The FREE outdoor class is offered to both members and non-members of the YMCA. All classes will be held at the Town Lawn in North Boulevard Town Square on Tuesday & Thursday evenings.

Free First Sunday
First Sunday is a cooperative endeavor offered by downtown museums for free admission to events on the first Sunday of each month. Visit the LASM, LSU MOA, and USS KIDD and explore all the wonderful things they have to offer for FREE!

First Saturday at the Market
First Saturday at the Market means local food, art and fun. Pick up spring veggies including yellow squash, zucchini, fava beans, snap beans and new potatoes. The Fresh form the Market cooking demonstration will feature writer and radio personality Jay Ducote using local produce to prepare a tasty spring dish. Bring the kids to enjoy face painting provided by Red Stick Farmers Market and music throughout the morning. The Arts Market also returns with over 60 artists from the Gulf region.
